VistaScan Plus
For those dentists who prefer the flexibility of film over rigid sensors, the conversion from X-ray film to "digital" image plate technology is a logical choice. The VistaScan Plus allows scanning of films from size 0 through to Pan and Ceph image plates with ease. The excellent image quality and the large application range that film has offered for years can now be provided by Dürr image plate technology – intraoral, bitewing, Panoramic or CEPH may all be used, complementing the advantages of diagnostic radiography.
The software enhances the dianostic quality of the images through automatic and personal image optimisation. Well practised procedures in the surgery are easily transformed from film based to image plate technology.
Features
Intelligent practice integration
If you can develop, you can scan as well! Changing to digital X-ray technology with the Dürr VistaScan is a logical step. This is because the process is simple to operate: the practice team members carry out the work steps familiar to them from their training in film processing, but this time without needing to use chemicals.

The intraoral positioning of the image plate is carried out in the same way as for a film, positioning is easy for all patients with no troublesome cables or bulky sensor casings to get in the way. After the image has been taken, the reading process is carried out on the scanner and the image is examined on the monitor. The image is thus available for all subsequent image processing needs.
Safe diagnostics
The conversion from X-ray film to the "digital" image plate technology is a logical choice. The excellent image quality and the large application ran- ge that film has offered for years can now be provided by Dürr image plate technology – all intraoral formats may all be used, complementing the advantages of diagnostic radiography.

Safe application
Well-practised procedures in the surgery, are easily transformed from film based to image plate technology. There is no change in the X-ray procedures in the surgery, but many things are simplified. Positioning and taking of exposures is exactly the same as film except for reduced patient dose. Thankfully the large exposure range of the plate reduces the risk of over and under exposure. The scanning and controlled deletion of the plates is done automatically with the VistaScan Perio at the press of a button: the cassette system can record up to 8 images in one single step, scans them, deletes and at the same time, the plates are ready for the next exposure. While doing so, it handles the plates very gently.
Safe investment
Satisfied and reassured patients are the basis for the success of a practice. The consultation as well as explanation of results and treatment is done conveiently on the screen. In addition to this cost-effective argument for digitisation, efficiency is optimised using the reusable Dürr image plates Plus. The Dürr PCS scanner is ready for future generations of image plates with resolutions of up to 40 LP/mm.
Image plate holder system
Thanks to their deburred and rounded edges, image plate holders from Dürr Dental offer optimum protection for the image plate. Holders are available for all areas of application and aid the production of exact X-rays.
Disinfect with FD 350
The FD 350 disinfectant wipes from Dürr Dental are particularly suitable for disinfection and cleaning of medical products. Thanks to their size they are ideal and economical for small surfaces of objects, e.g. for sleeves of intraoral plates and films, handpieces and fittings, etc. – immediately ready for use, residue-free and fast.
Image plate cleaning wipe
The VistaScan image plate cleaning wipes can be used to clean the image plates when necessary and also have a disinfecting effect. Advantage: A lasting optimum image quality.
