A leader in its technology, with its form and its function it presents digital X-ray imaging in an uncomplicated form, producing a better diagnostic quality combined with considerable reduction in the usual process.

VistaScan Perio works almost silently in 12 o'clock position on the line of treatment cabinetry. Installed centrally it can be set up either as a stand alone appliance or can be wall mounted to save space.

Enhanced PCS-Technology

The technology is based on a laser beam being rotated instead of the image plate and delivers superb quality images in a very short time. The 16-bit processing of raw data means that a total of 65,000 grey scales are attainable - a valuable advantage in the diagnostic supporting filters of DBSWIN for caries, endo or perio, for example.

Thin flexible, cordless and easy to handle.

The latest generation of digital image plates is the logical medical technical result of the further development of conventional X-ray films. It adopts the strengths of the conventional system with regards to the image quality, positioning and variety of formats, avoids the disadvantages associated with wet developing techniques and then improves the technological advantages by allowing scanning, image editing and archival. The modern scanner technology which is easy on materials means that image plates can be re-used over a number of years where careful handling is employed.

Cassettes extend the life of your films

VistaScan Perio transports image plates without extra human handling using a cassette system. The cassettes have been designed especially so that the image plates remain safe and sound. The system ensures a certain distance to the scanner so that there is no contact between transport elements.

The VistaScan Perio is able to provide the most valuable of resources, time. This is a multi-slot scanner with an entry and an exit buffer, which is able to scan up to 8 images and then to erase the films and prepare them for further use in one step – and all this is fully automatic at the touch of a button in approximately 30 seconds.
