The affordable Pan/Tilt camera

The waterproof 40 mm camera always fits. With its 180° pan- and 360° tiltable camera head, it gives you an inside view into drainage pipes, air ducts, machinery, ceiling cavities along with many other difficult to reach areas.

The innovative design provides super bright lighting and simple operation, all in one heavy duty carrying case. A crystal clear picture appears on the wide screen TFT monitor so you identify problems before they occur. The VIS 340 Advanced Camera System comes standard with a built in RCA video output for documentation on a VCR or other elec-tronic devices. The state-of-the-art NiMH battery packs each provide 1.5 hours continious operation. The power supply offers simoultaneous operation and battery recharging.

Kit Contents

The VIS340 service camera consists of a high resolution 7" TFT colour monitor, a 2 meter flexible cable for “out of case” operation, a 30 meter GFK semi rigid push rod with metric markings, a 40mm Pan / Tilt miniature colour camera head, 2 rechargeable batteries, a plug pack charger and a rugged transport case.

Mini-Spring Color & B/W Camera

For inspections of chambers, ventilation ducts and mains with small openings. The Mini-Spring camera head is seen in the top picture with the GFK semi-rigid rod and the Viper Reel.

The color & B/W camera heads are fully waterproof to IP68 standards and can be connected to either the flexible cable and reel unit for vertical shaft applications or to the GFK rod for horizontal applications where the unit will be pushed into position inside a chamber. A disposable protective sleeve is available for the camera head when being used in harsh environments.

The color camera head has a light sensitivity of 3.0 lux

The Mini-Spring camera head and the VIS2000 camera head share the same connector type and can therefore be interchanged between the flexible cable and GFK rod.

Camera Locator Set

The compact handheld locator uses 32KHz frequency to locate the position of the camera head inside a pipe, wall structure or even under ground. The locator beacon is plugged in between the camera head and the push rod. When an area of interest is found with the camera, the locator provides a precise positioning of the camera head. Depth location is also possible via triangulation. The locator provides both visual and an auditory indicator of signal strength. Headset is included.
