Product Description
Compact Search & Rescue System
The SearchCam Recon II extends the technical rescuer’s search capability. Designed for Urban Search and Rescue teams, the SearchCam Recon II features a telescoping probe that extends the rescuer’s viewing area to over 10 feet. This general-purpose camera system is ideal for use on rubble piles and in multi-floor search operations.

The Recon II enables structural collapse rescue squads to perform limited visual search through multiple debris layers, as well as victim observation after the search team has moved on to other locations. The Recon II strikes a balance between cost, size and performance. The Recon II is small enough to be easily maneuverable in rubble, yet will extend long enough to be effective for multi-floor search operations. Effective viewing distance is as close as one inch to approximately 12 feet in total darkness. Operational ease is further enhanced by the detachable display. With the display attached the probe is easy to operate with one hand. In tight or confined areas the display can be quickly removed for increased mobility.
Articulating Head
Get the big picture with the Recon II's two-way 180 degree articulating camera head. The telescoping probe provides extended reach to view larger areas. The system's articulation controls are smooth and precise, just like you expect from a Searchcam.
The Recon II is completely compatible with all Searchcam 2000 accessories and batteries, which guarantees compatibility with hundreds of rescue teams around the world The Searchcam Recon II is built using the same quality and workmanship found in the top of the line Searchcam 2000, there has been no compromise in quality to reduce the cost of the system. The Recon II is designed for rescue squads that understand the value of visual search and inspection during structural collapse rescues and want the quality and features found only in a Searchcam
