Miniflex Fibrescopes & Borescopes

Miniflex Fibrescopes and Borescopes

The Schoelly Miniflex line has been specifically designed for small diameter applications. The internal examination and inspection of very small bores and nozzles such as in turbine blades and fuel injectors requires the use of very fine diameter endoscopes.

In our range of Miniflex Rigid Endoscopes we offer instruments from 1.8mm to 2.7mm. Using Rod lens technology with color correction we can guarantee bright and clear picture performance. The 'Robust' range of borescopes are manufactured with high resolution image fibres instead of the conventional rod lens system. This specialized construction technique ensures a sturdy and rugged instrument for rough industrial applications.

Features

Miniflex Rigid Borescopes

Specially developed techniques and the use of the latest state of the art integrated optical systems allow us to offer a unique image system of high resolution and true colour. Even the 1.8 mm endoscope has sufficient light to enable it to be connected to a colour TV camera. All Miniflex Endoscopes are watertight over their working length.

Miniflex Miniature Fibrescopes

For inspection applications where a rigid borescope cannot be used ( i.e. hidden outlets, hollows or curved tubes ) the miniature flexible fibrescopes can be applied. The Schoelly Miniflex range offers a wide variety of flexible systems from 0.35mm to 2.7mm. Schoelly offers top class performance with a range of Miniflex fibrescopes and Miniflex Module scopes with working diameters from 0.35mm and working lengths upto 6 meters. These fibrescopes are ideally suited to inspection of small and complex parts such as turbine blades and electronic appliances.

The Miniflex module system consists of a focussing eyepiece along with the optical section of the scope with the image transmission system, lens and illumination at the tip. Both sections can be easily connected through a rapid 'snap fitting'. The advantage - Standard zoom eyepieces for manual or video inspection can be combined with both flexible and rigid probes af any length or diameter.

The image bundle used on these scopes represents the latest fibre technology. The diameter of each pixel amounts only to 3-4u. This high resolution provides a bright, clear and high contrast image. This also applies to the application of video systems where we deal with extremely small working diameters.
