Use a BugEye Technoscope to document your inspections !

The full range of BugEye Technoscopes use precision optics and provide clear focused images with true colour transmission. The instruments have a 12 V halogen bulb in the tip of the probe, supplying an extremely bright white light suitable for even the darkest cavity inspections and allowing the scope to be connected directly to an external 12 volt supply such as a vehicle or a 'plug pack' power supply. The BugEye Standard has a viewing direction of 70° and super wide angled 90° field of view allowing the user to inspect wall cavities and confined spaces with ease. Along with a focussing eyepiece, the BugEye Professional has a viewing direction of 90° and a narrower field of view of 60° allowing the user to view objects at greater distances.

The following termite images were taken through the BugEye Professional Technoscope using the photo adapter along with the Nikon CoolPix Camera. Images such as these can also be achieved using a standard SLR camera or a hand held Video Camera attached to the technoscope through the optional camera adapter. BugEye Standard – TS-08230.7090
Viewing distance < 1.5 meters

For inspection applications where viewing distances do not exceed 1.5 meters such as in wall cavities or confined spaces, a wide angle field of view is recommended. The Viewing Direction of this scope (V.D) is 70° and the Field of View (F.o.V) is 90°. This is an extremely wide angled Borescope allowing the operator to view the complete wall cavity with ease. The BugEye Standard comes with a Compact Transport Case, NiCad battery pack and an integrated 12V super bright bulb fitted to the tip ensuring sufficient illumination for the darkest cavities.

BugEye Professional – TS-08350.9060
Viewing distance > 1.5 meters 

For applications where viewing distances will exceed 1.5 meters such as under floors and inside roof cavities, a focussing Borescope is recommended with a narrower 60° field of view. The BugEye Professional Technoscope allows the operator to adjust the focal length thereby achieving a clear and sharp image of objects up to 5 meters away. The special, 'high powered' battery pack included with this kit in conjunction with the 12V bulb at the tip of the scope provides an even brighter white light than the BugEye standard kit thereby illuminating objects up to several meters away.

Product Description

The new semi flexible INLINE Light Scope offers a low costs alternative to a wide range of Pest Inspection applications. It is the perfect optical instrument for viewing inaccessible areas within wall cavities and behind objects such as water heaters and inaccessible areas. The Light Scope is also ideal for viewing pest activity inside trees. 

The semi flexible probe is constructed using a special 'Flex & Stay' metal spiral within the PVC sheath guaranteeing robustness in all situations and ensuring excellent results for all NDT applications where a 9mm access hole is available. The standard INLINE Light Scope uses a 3500 pixel Image bundle and provides a sharp, high contrast image. The high resolution Light Scope uses an image bundle with 13000 pixels providing a higher quality image which is better suited for applications where photographs (digital or analogue) are to be taken. 

The Standard Light Scope is available in three lengths, 1000, 2000 & 3000mm. The High Resolution model is 1350mm in length. Both fibrescopes types allow the adaptation of an optional 90 degree mirror tip for side viewing applications in confined spaces.
