DSX-800 Veterinary X-ray Sensor
The DSX-800 Veterinary x-ray sensor is a film less, digital veterinary imaging system that produces high resolution, diagnostic quality x-ray images. Utilizing CCD technology, DSX800 produces high efficiency, low noise images which are digitised and transmitted to your computer via a standard USB (Universal Serial Bus) port and is compatible with laptop or desktop systems.
The image area of the DSX800 Sensor is optimised for its size, meaning that it is just as effective used horizontally or vertically. The DSX-800 Veterinary x-ray sensor also helps frame the teeth to be x-rayed thereby producing more information which reduces the number of exposures necessary. The DSX-800 Veterinary x-ray sensor saves time and money, and is more efficient and safer. Everything to make it the clear choice for your next sensor.
Features
Advantages of Digital Imaging.
Digital imaging delivers significantly increased revenue to today’s high-tech veterinary practice. Requiring less labor, the system increases patient throughput and is much safer for the animal with reduced x-ray exposure. 'Easy of use', 'state of the art' digital imaging eliminates the inconvenience of film processing and the 3 to 6 minute wait for conventional x-rays. Images are available immediately and archiving is fast and simple for patient data base archives. Inconsistant x-ray results due to ageing chemicals and different operators is also a thing of the past.

DSX800 System Includes:
- One Sensor - size 1 or 2 (corresponding to standard dental X-Ray film sizes).
- One Docking Station with USB cable
- QuickVison 4 Image Management Software Suite
- Disposable Protective Sheaths
- Quick Start Guide
- Installation and Operation User Guide (provided on CD)

QuickVision archiving and diagnostic software.
If you work with PC's, you need software which is fast and easy to use. Our software has an intelligent ‘capture’ function allowing you to take a single shot or a series of images without a mouse click. You can now take a complete collection of shots without operating the software once during the sequence. Intuitive ‘save’ functions are already structuring your data in the background during the imaging sequence. The images are also rotated automatically to the correct orientation after each exposure.

The software offers a variety of helpful and important tools for diagnosis and image manipulation. Difficult to detect gray scales can now be reliably diagnosed using these integrated tools. Undetectable differences can be colored with a simple mouse click thereby assisting with a reliable diagnosis in a matter of seconds. The edge enhancement tool also provides a clear and reliable diagnosis.
