S417 Veterinary Camera System

S417 Veterinary Camera System

The VetCam is the only veterinary camera with image memory and integrated light source to offer so many features. With standard video and S-video outputs, the camera is fully compatible to video recorders, video printers and computers through a frame grabber card or USB interface

Use imaging to reassure your customers. The VetCam has been developed especially for veterinarians. Because your customers love their animals, they want them to receive the same quality of care as they do. The VetCam is therefore sure to play a determining role in the decision-making process and help build confidence between you and your customers.

Features

Communicate with your customers.

Communication is a decisive element in all disciplines. In veterinary medicine, the VetCam is the ideal communication tool, as it provides your customers with the opportunity to see what you can see and therefore to make decisions in full knowledge of the facts.

Motivate customers and staff

Customers are often worried about the sometimes considerable expenses that can be involved in veterinary care, especially when they are not aware of all the alternatives to make an informed decision. The images obtained with your VetCam will help you to explain your diagnosis and give credibility to your recommendations.

Applications

Image Examples

The following images were taken through the VetCam using rigid and flexible endoscopes.

Multi Discipline Imaging

Ears, mouth, nose, eyes, teeth and skin can all be examined with the VetCam thanks to its diagnosis endoscope, with no need for any additional accessories.

A work channel even allows you to pass through flexible instruments to perform biopsies. The use of flexible endoscopes is made possible with an adapter ring that corresponds to the type of equipment employed. Orthopedic, laparoscopic and gynecological surgery are optimized with the endoscopic coupler that is compatible with any rigid or flexible endoscope available on the market.

For dental or dermatological applications, the VetCam handpiece can obtain spectacular images with magnifications reaching x100.

Archiving software
Thanks to the adjustable light power, optomology can be performed without any risk to the animal. The single or four-picture memory (quad function) allows you to freeze the image on your screen for easier communication with your customers.

The camera module includes a super bright halogen light source along with the latest technology in micro electronics to guarantee brilliant, sharp images every time.

Docking station technology

The VetCam boasts revolutionary docking station technology. The camera module is simply inserted in to the front of the docking station and your unit is ready for operation.

The 'docked 'camera is always available where it is needed during treatment. Taken out of the docking station, the camera module can be used at a variety of locations throughout the practice or even moved between surgeries in a convenient carry case.

Equipment stand

Mobile equipment stand

The VetCam and digital X-Ray sensor can be mounted on a custom stand to allow simple integration with the PC and flat screen monitor. With two small castors at the rear, the stand is portable and can be moved easily from room to room. The stand also has an ergonomic keyboard and mouse pad mounted directly below the flat screen monitor for easy access. A photo printer is mounted below the camera for quick and easy printing of archived images and x-rays.

All cables are hidden and the unit need only be plugged into the mains power for operation. Wireless network capability allows access to archived images from any computer in your practice.

If you are tired of tripping over cables and losing bench space in your surgery to monitors & keyboards, this equipment stand will be the ideal solution.
